RadioDJ Features

scrmain2.jpgRadioDJ is under heavy development, so the following list may contain features that are not fully implemented. Those features are marked with "*" sign.

Hardware and Software Requirements

  • Supported operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista. Other versions might work but are unsupported
  • Runs on standard PC hardware with at least 600 MHz CPU and 256 MB RAM
  • Two soundcards setup option, one for main output and one for PFL monitoring
  • Works with any soundcard supported by Windows
  • MySQL database backend for fast and safe operation
  • At least Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 required (3.5 recommended)

Supported File Formats

  • Compatible audio formats: mp3, wav, wma, aac, flac, ac3
  • Support for Shoutcast and other HTTP stream relaying
  • Supports saving and loading playlists
  • Support for ID3 tags
      • Playout System
      • AutoDJ function, based on category and subcategory rotation for 24/7 automation
      • Advanced rules for selecting tracks in AutoDJ mode, to avoid playing same track or artist in
        a user's setted time interval.
      • Custom song and jingle rotations wich can be loaded and saved anytime by operator or by programmed event
      • RadioDJ comes with 10 predefined main categories that will help you organize all of your sound files. Beside those, you can add virtually unlimited categories and subcategories for your music, jingles, sweepers etc
      • Integrated cartwall with an unlimited number of players
      • Monitor (pre-listen) option for any track in search window
      • Unobstructive cue points saving for any track (start, intro, preview in, preview out, outro and end)
      • Manual or auto advance mode for the playlist tracks
      • Advanced scheduler for events (radio shows, advertisments etc) wich allows you to set more actions for each scheduled task.
